River Media

River Media (company uses RiverMedia) is a media group based mainly in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. The company was founded in 2005 by media veterans Padraig O'Dwyer, Tim Collins and Jim Fitzpatrick as well as The Irish News. The company is based in Letterkenny, County Donegal.

Since its formation, the group has expanded rapidly and now operates thirteen local newspaper titles, most of whom are in the northwest of Ireland. The papers purchased or founded by the company are all full colour, in a tabloid format and target the 20-50 age bracket.[1] The company's titles are:

The group has also expanded into the broadcast sector of the media industry and own the local radio stations Ocean FM and Kfm in the Republic of Ireland[2].
