River Jindi initiates from the place known as Kot and Manzari Baba, hills of Malakand Agency, in north of district Charsadda. In start, Jindi has very limited water, but in summer when there are rains, the amount of water increases in the river. As the river goes down the local poople uses generator or turbine for taking out water for irrigation. so the amount of water further decreases. River Jindi had enough water, but since the last few years, due the envirmental changes, river dont have enough water. The use of turbine etc further reduces the water.
The river passes through other villages like Spankharo, Prang Ghar, Palay, and then through one of the tehsil of Charsadda Tangi, and it meets with river Swat at the south of charsadda.
