The River Clare (Irish: Abhainn na Chláir) is a river in County Galway, Ireland which flows into Lough Corrib. From there it flows into Galway Bay via the River Corrib. A large section of it is comprised of a former turlough, which used to be Ireland's largest at 6.5 square kilometres..
