Rivara is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Turin in the Canavese area of the Italian region of Piedmont, located about 30 km north of Turin. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,597 and an area of 12.4 km².[1]
Rivara borders the following municipalities: Pratiglione, Valperga, Prascorsano, Forno Canavese, Pertusio, San Ponso, Busano, Levone, and Barbania.
