Risløkka is a station on Grorudbanen (line 5) on the Oslo T-bane system. The station lies between Økern and Vollebekk and is situated 6.5 km from Stortinget. The station is among the original stations on the line and was opened October 16, 1966. Peer Qvam was the station's architect.[1]
The line bridges the local road Risløkkalleen immediately east of the station. To the north of the station is a largely residential area, with several detached houses. To the south is a more industrial area, including the main office for the road entrepreneuring company Oslo Vei, the successor to Oslo's public road constructor. Also near the subway station is a base for the public road authority Statens Vegvesen which deals with driver and vehicle licensing.
