A Risk Management Service Provider (RMSP) is a company that provides organisations with visibility of their risk to normal business operations and advises on how best to use information technology to meet their business objectives and mitigate risk.
RMSPs offer Risk Advisory Services (inc. Vulnerability Risk Assessment, Wireless Risk Assessment and Penetration Testing) and implement, optimise, monitor and manage IT Security Systems.
In addition, an RMSP assists organisations to build business cases for remediation, define strong IT Security strategies by measuring the business risk against Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability (C.I.A) and prove risk trending to the auditors and the board.
