Riptides (hockey)

The Riptides are a roller hockey team (2000-present) based in Glastonbury, Connecticut.

The team was founded in 2000 by captains Chris LaRue and Jon Graney, who also is the team's goaltender.

Originally started as a dekhockey team in East Hartford, Connecticut, the Riptides moved their franchise to neighboring Glastonbury and became a roller hockey team at Z-Rink.

Two championships: Fall 2002, Winter 2005.
