Rio Vista Village is the newest of the fifteen urban villages of Phoenix, Arizona, located far to the north of the rest of the city. This village consists primarily of largely undeveloped land recently annexed into Phoenix, located close to the unincorporated master-planned community of Anthem. Formed as "New Village" in 2004, growth into Rio Vista village is not anticipated in the near future.
The boundaries of Rio Vista Village are Carefree Hwy/Pyramid Peak Pkwy/Desert Hills Drive to the south, the border with Peoria to the west, I-17 to the east, and the city limit of incorporated land to the north.
