Rinn Ó gCuanach CLG is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in An Rinn, County Waterford, Ireland. The club enters teams of both GAA codes each year, which includes two adult Gaelic football teams and two adult Hurling teams in the Waterford County Championships. The club plays Senior Football and Intermediate Hurling championships. The club's second string teams take part in the Waterford Junior Hurling & Football championships.
For the 2008 Waterford Senior Football championship, Rinn O gCuanach have been drawn in the following group: Ardmore, Rathgormack and Clashmore. In the first game An Rinn defeated Clashmore on a scoreline of 0-12 to 0-10.
In the Western Intermediate Hurling championship for 2008, Rinn O gCuanach have been drawn in the following group: Clashmore, Gerldines, Cappoquin, Shamrocks. In the first round of games, An Rinn defeated Clashmore on a scoreline of 3-10 to 1-07.
The club has won the County Intermediate Football Championship twice, 1996 and 2005. De La Salle were overcome in both these Finals. The club contested the 2007 West Waterford Intermediate Hurling Final losing to Dungarvan. The club was also defeated in the 2004 Intermediate divisional hurling decider to Knockanore Shamrocks.
1991 was one of the most successful years in the history of the An Rinn club. The Junior Hurling team won the County Junior Hurling Championship title beating Kilmacthomas of East Waterford in the Final. The County Junior double was completed when the Junior footballers beat Tramore. The club was awarded Waterford Club of the Year for this historic achievement.
In June 2008, An Rinn captured the coveted Comortas Peile na Gaeltachta title for the first time in the club's history. The tournament was staged by the Naomh Columba club in Gleann Colm Cille Co. Donegal. On route to this historic achievement, An Rinn accounted for the Béal Átha an Ghaorthaigh from Cork, Laochra Loch Laoi from Béal Feiriste, Naomh Mhuire from Tír Chonaill and Piarsaigh na Dromaide from Ciarraí in the final.
