Rimantas Armonas is a Lithuanian cellist.
He gives many concerts as a soloist and as a member of different chamber ensembles.
Rimantas Armonas led cello master courses and interpretation seminars in Finland (1991-92), Belorussia (1994, 2003, 2004), Latvia (1996, Academia Baltica' 97), the Netherlands (2001), Germany and the USA (2003). He participated as a juror member at the international competitions.
Since 1978, he has been teaching at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, Professor from 2003.
