[edit] Van/van?

The article title and lead should display the same name - but in the title van uses a small 'v', but the lead uses a big 'V'. Which one of these is right? SeveroTC 22:16, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

The Cycling Website, MdC & many others use the 'V', so the big one is correct. :-D Mango101 (talk) 12:11, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
Gargh, the redirect this needs to be moved over has a history of two edits which means an administrator has to move it via WP:RM. SeveroTC 12:31, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
In Belgium, "Van" is almost always capitalized, so "Rik Van Steenbergen" is probably correct; most sources agree. I've moved it. -- Eugène van der Pijll (talk) 14:44, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
