Rikiji Masuda ( 増田 力司 ) a.k.a. RIKIJI, (b. January 11, 1971) is a Japanese musician and bassist from Saitama, Japan.

He started playing base when he was about 18. Before that he had dreams of becoming a guitarist. He gave up when he discovered that playing bass was easier because it only has four strings.[1]

His musical career started as the bassist of "Three Eyes Jack" from 1993 to 1995 under the name "chacha maru"(ちゃちゃ丸).[2] Around Fall of 1995 Rikiji (already using his name) joined up Mega8Ball, band where as well show up the vocalist/guitarist Takano Tetsu (ex-Malice Mizer, ex-Zigzo, NIL). The band later disbanded and had it's last live on December 29th of 1997 upon which time Rikiji immediately joined Oblivion Dust in January of 1998.[3] Then, in December of 2000, he left the band and in early 2001 reformed Mega8Ball, being Rikiji the only original member to stay with the band until those days.[4]

In June 28th of 2007, he announced that he was joining again with Oblivion Dust. He wouldn't leave Mega8Ball, though.
