What makes you say that? Right-wing organizations were officially armed and funded by USA and Turkey. However since Turkish left wing was strongly opposed to soviets in those days, they did not get any help except from Palestine.

I think this needs to be cleaned up. There are possible NPOV problems and some predictions made by the author.
