Rigoberto Rodriguez

Rigoberto Rodriguez is a composer, percussionist, musician and band leader. He is from Bayamon, Puerto Rico. Ever since a very young age he love and felt move by salsa music. At the age of 10 he take music classes at El Instituto Musical de Bayamon. He started playing salsa when he was 14 years old. The rhythms that he has played range from classic salsa to hard salsa and Latin Jazz. He plays bongos with well know artists like Pedro Brull, Eddie Santiago, Luisito Carrion, Willie Gonzales among others. In 1993 he form his own band Rigo y su Obra Maestra. In 2002, he founded his own Record Label Obra Maestra Records.
