Right of the Republic (Polish: Prawica Rzeczypospolitej) is a political party in Poland founded by the former Marshal of the Sejm Marek Jurek on 20 April 2007, after he had left Law and Justice on 16 April 2007 when the Sejm failed to pass a constitutional amendment protecting prenatal life. It positions itself as a Christian conservative party with a strong focus on family rights and pro-life campaigning.[1] [2] The party is currently outside the Parliament as it failed to gain the required number of votes in the parliamentary election in 2007.
