Riedlingen is a town in the district (Kreis) of Biberach, Baden-Württemberg, in the south-west of Germany. It is situated on the Danube. It has about 10,000 inhabitants and is 750 years old.

In 2005, Riedlingen celebrated its 750th birthday. In Riedlingen there are also a lot of different clubs, for example the football club TSV Riedlingen which plays in the German "Kreisliga A" or the carnival group called "Gole". Riedlingen also has an old town centre with an old town wall and a lot of old and very exciting, historical houses and buildings. The biggest companies in Riedlingen are the companies called "Silit" and "Blank". They are very important for the town, because a lot of the inhabitants work there. The river Danube is also important for the town, because it flows through the city centre of Riedlingen. Around Riedlingen there are seven more little villages, called Neufra, Daugendorf, Grüningen, Pflummern, Zwiefaltendorf, Zell and Bechingen. They are also parts of Riedlingen but they have only between 150 and 900 inhabitants. Riedlingen is in the district of Biberach which has about 30,000 inhabitants and is about 30 kilometers away from Riedlingen.

The writer Ernst Jünger died in Riedlingen February 17, 1998, at the age of 102.
