[edit] Ridelow Lowriders

Ridelow Lowrider's have been running for 4 years out of Manchester's Northern Quarter in the UK. Ridelow's belief is that their bikes are a crucial part of the cycling community, especially in today's age of 'bling' and style. Lowrider's appeal to the majority of youth subcultures and have a wide array of adult fans, be it as a hobby or an enthusiast. Thus far Ridelow has supplied bikes to many celebrities, Premiership Footballers, Musicians, Fashion Houses, Media Groups and many more.
The Company was established in 1992, two brothers of Greek origin opened the Home Design Store in the City Centre of Manchester. From the offset, they were out to make an impact on the unsuspecting public by selling original cutting edge products which were largely unseen in the UK.
This progressed and expanded into two other shops located in the now famous Arndale Centre. It was during this period the brothers of enterprise met Mark Graveson, a committed bike and gadget enthusiast who then came on board and managed one of the shops. What Mark and George shared was a passion about forgotten days of California's Lowrider bike Culture.
Today, the brand appears to be stronger than ever with articles appearing in the many different forms of media from music publications to women's magazines. Ridelow seem unique in the sense that they are as much a design and fashion company as they are a bike manufacturer, which gives the brand a unusual opportunity to combine style and cycling in a way which has never been done before. Evidence of this would be the growing number of commissioned ‘one off’ lowrider's being designed for rock stars, world class model's and a range of global companies.
In 2007, the company announced on its website that it will now also supply BMX bikes to the public. This includes the biggest and best manufacturers of BMX’s on the planet such as KHE and We the People.
At he beginning on 2008, the team behind Ridelow are scheduled to open the nations first ever Bicycle Boutique which will be located in Manchester’s city centre. The concept is solid, a bike shop which will encompass the ethos of Ridelow's attitude towards what a bike retailer should be in the 21st century. The shop will specialise in bicycles which are more aesthetically pleasing than the average bike that most people see everyday with the focus on the style of the bike rather than the number of gears. Further to this, the shop will house the largest display of BMX’s the nation has ever seen for the sole purpose of broadening the spectrum of what people expect from a bicycle.
