My mother, who grew up in Ridgewood, and went to Ridgewood High School, has spoken of a fire that happened in the building in the late 1950's/early 1960's that did extensive damage, caused by arson. I'd think that it would be worth a mention in here. Besides, in a high school around since 1919, there's got to be a lot of interesting history to it... SchuminWeb (Talk) 00:45, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

The school was built in 1919, and certainly has an extensive history, which should be fleshed out a bit. Thus the section stub for history. The aforementioned fire is certainly an example of such a thing. Having been past there, the whole building does not appear to be from 1919, as one section looks 1950's-1960's vintage.
