Variation on Drunk Driver: Dealer lays out 6 - 8 cards face down. Player chooses which side they want the drive to start from. This card is flipped over and the player has to guess if the card next to it will be higher or lower. The dealer is the only person who can look at the card face down. If the player is right in his guess, the drive progresses. The card is flipped over and the player has to guess if the card next to that one is higher or lower. For example, if player chooses to start from his right, the table will look like this: X - X - X - X - X - J. If the player guesses lower and the one to the left of the J is lower, say a 9, the drive progresses and the table now looks like this: X - X - X - X - 9 - J. Next the player must guess if the card next to the 9 is higher or lower. The ace is the highest card in the deck and the 2 is the lowest. Drinks: if a player is incorrect in his guess, he must drink as many cards as are flipped over. For example from above, if the player guesses lower and the next card is a Q, the card is flipped over revealing X - X - X - Q - 9 - J. The player has to take 3 drinks. The drive is then started over by placing cards face down on the cards guessed right, so the table will look like this X - X - X - X - X - J. If a double or an 8 occurs, that means the player automatically has to drink double the amount of the cards facing up. For example, if X - X - X - 9 - 9 - J were to occur, the player would have to take 6 drinks. Also, if X - X - X - 8 - 9 - J were to occur, the player would take 6 drinks, even if they did say lower than the 9. In order to win the game the player must guess all the cards right without getting doubles or an 8 and make it safely home.
