Talk:Ride of the Valkyries/Comments

Stub class. More discussion of the music itself would help the article. Not sure how much development is possible on this subject. IMO opera excerpts are best handled in the context of the main opera article. -- Kleinzach 05:19, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

Start class, as it doesn't satisfy the Stub conditions in Wikipedia:Assessment (and indeed was destubbed by Kleinzach some time ago). As with the Bridal Chorus, I imagine that if this was deleted or merged, someone would re-invent it, and also I wonder whether this really needs to be part of the Wagner Project. At least some of us improved the article's accuracy some time ago. --GuillaumeTell 15:28, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

Start class. Agree with GT that there is enough material here for Start class. Agree it needs to exist as an article as it is an obvious thing to look up. I think WP:Wagner should keep an eye on it as it is one of his two best known pieces. For improvement to B, I would expect mention of arrangements authorised by RW, indication of how often the piece is given in concert, mention of recordings. And I'm sure there must be some critical assessments available.--Peter cohen 11:43, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
