[edit] rhymes.org.uk

Frankly, anything this site claims should just be disbelieved on general principle, as it tries to claim all sorts of spurious, disproven nonsense as if it were factual. It should not count as a reliable, encyclopedic source and should not be linked to. 172.144.210.91 21:21, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

Wow! To the above - steady on old boy - thou might have an attack of the heart!! All I was going to say was that I'd heard that the 'Cock Horse' comes from 'The Cock' pub in Stoney Stratford (same Cock pub as Cock and Bull story). The pub would provide fresh horses to travelers etc. But i don't think I will now as Mr Angry above might come and find me and his last act on earth will be to beat me to death with his lack of humour!!

[edit] Steep hill

I think you will find that Banbury is at the B0TTOM of a hill, not the top. There are hills on most of the roads into the town, particularly Oxford Road, Bloxham Road and Broughton Road, not to mention Warwick Road! I used to walk UP Bloxham Road to school every day!Oyster24 (talk) 14:32, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
