Ridgmar Mall opened in 1976 at 1888 Green Oaks Road and Interstate 30 in West Fort Worth, Texas.[2][3] It is currently owned by Macerich.[4]
Customers came from the surrounding area, particularly Carswell Air Force Base and White Settlement.
At its bleakest, the mall had only 23 tenants.[citation needed]
The mall was renovated in 1999.[3] The $70 million dollar facelift was completed in 2002. Customers say the big draw that enticed them to venture into the mall again was the new Rave cineplex.[citation needed]
