Ridge "R.J." Forrester Jr. is a character on The Bold and the Beautiful. He is the son of Ridge Forrester and Brooke Logan he has no full siblings but has four half siblings from his mother and three from his father. At first it was thought that his father was Dominick Marone but it was revealed that his father was in fact Ridge Forrester. He has been called by many family members the "miracle child" for being the only child of Brooke and Ridge, a symbol of their lifelong love for each other. Brooke named their son Ridge Forrester Jr. and his half-brother Thomas Forrester nicknamed him R.J. Despite the fact that his father was briefly engaged to Ashley Abbott R.J. is one reason his mother and father have reconciled and are building a life together by getting remarried and raising R.J. with his half-sister Hope Logan.
The birth of his half-uncle Nick Marone's son Jack Marone has put a severe strain on his parents' remarriage. Maternally R.J. and Jack are half-brothers while paternally they are half-cousins.
