Ridge City is the fictional city in which the events in the game Ridge Racer and its many sequels take place. Ridge city's geographic location is unknown, though it seems to be the sole city on a small island. The actual scope of Ridge city has changed over the series, adding new tracks all the time. However, The City still retains the original course from Ridge Racer and Ridge Racer 2. The landscape of Ridge city is diverse, containing tracks that run through cities, beaches, wooded areas, and mountains.
