[edit] Community Associations Institute
I like what you are doing on the Community Associations Institute, but can you please spell out what CID means? If you link this, it has several disambigulation links to it. I would greatly appreciate it. Chris 13:02, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Homeowners association. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Your edits are passing off opinions as fact, and display a strong bias against homeowners' associations. Αργυριου (talk) 22:27, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
- This denigration of my reputation is entirely based on your unsubstantiated opinion. -- Rico 17:07, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] 3RR block
I have blocked you for violating the 3-revert rule on Community Associations Institute. I would have preferred to avoid blocks, but since Argyriou was blocked over it and you also violated 3RR, you should also be blocked so as to not favor either side in the content dispute. Your block could have been 24 hours, but I timed it to end at the same time as Argyriou's, 23:19, 26 May 2007. Please try harder to work with them so you two can avoid further blocks. —dgiestc 16:20, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
According to WP:3RR, "An editor must not perform more than three reverts, in whole or in part, on a single page within a 24-hour period." I have not done that.
Since the rule is spelled out, letting administrators go outside those rules exposes Wikipedians to arbitrary and capricious punishments.
First the block is imposed, and then I am given the right to present my case? Where's my due process?
I emailed the blocking administrator per the instructions, but Wikipedians can hardly reply on the blocking administrator to evaluate his or her own enforcement action in a neutral manner.
Finally, Dgies' block is keeping me from defending myself on AN/I, where the editor that started all this dared to file a report.
- I'm still blocked. -- Rico 17:30, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Your edit to User talk:Argyriou
Please read Wikipedia:Don't template the regulars. It is always a bad idea to template a user you are havinga dispute with because all you achieve is to make the conflict worse. You left a message. It was read. The edit summary wasn't nice to read but all you were doing by adding a template was inviting another comment you wouldn't want to read. Not helpful. Please read up on dispute resolution. You will notice that one of the very early steps is to disengage. May I suggest you stop leaving warnings on Argyriou's talk page and he will probably stop removing them with edit summaries you dislike. Spartaz Humbug! 20:05, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
