[edit] March 2007

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. As a member of the Wikipedia community, I would like to remind you to adhere to Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy for editors, which you appear to have violated at John Lennon. Thank you. Gwernol 00:16, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

"Assassination" is accurate, but the use of "Death" heading is generally more established in biographies. ˉˉanetode╦╩ 00:37, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
Your quotation of Wikipedia's definition of assassination was incomplete. It continues "An added distinction between assassination and other forms of killing is that an assassin usually has an ideological or political motivation" this element of political motivation is the common meaning of assassination. Even if we accept that assassination can include Chapman's act, it is still you applying that label, which means its not a neutral point of view. At the least you need to cite a reliable source of someone else saying its an assassination. Be aware that most reliable sources do not use the term assassination for Lennon's death, so you'll need really overwhelming evidence to overcome this. Gwernol 00:42, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
