{{helpme}}— I have been trying to get as much evidence together for this as possible, but it seems to be a chicken and egg situation, with having to wait for IMDB to register. Luke Massey is a director and changed his name from Morrison after a family death. This is his first feature, but we have another two lined up for production this year. I am currently choosing between two distributors and negotiating foreign sales rights on this film, which is pretty impressive for a first production on my behalf I think, especially based on a trailer only. I have been trying to link the sites that do show the validity of the production, but you don't seem to want to link to any of them. We have an actual trailer, 5 behind the scenes filming shorts and the bluetooth clip we use for viral phone marketing; all on youtube. We have a facebook site with over 500 fans, waiting for the film to be released in June, links to the interview we did with the local Central news in the UK (over 1million viewers). I have also spent over £25k of my own money on this film, so you will forgive me for being slightly put out that it's not considered a valid project. There are also reference pages up on myspace, bebo, icewhole, shootingpeople, britishhorrorfilms.co.uk and Mandy.com, all of which would be pretty pointless for a film that doesn't exist, or a director who is of no worth. Can you let me know what to do please? RichardEllipsis (talk) 20:11, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- I'd say forget about it entirely. The director doesn't seem to meet notability guidelines, and Facebook is not a reliable sources. Also, the fact that you've spent money on his film seems to indicate conflict of interest, which is usually frowned upon, especially in biographical articles. - So are you saying in essence that I need to find someone else to post this article? Is it acceptable for one of the fans of the film to post the information instead, or does it have to be from someone with absolutely no ties or interest in the article? I don't have the staff that larger film studios have to add the film write-ups on our behalf, maybe in a couple of years. You mentioned facebook not being reliable as well, but shootingpeople, mandy.com or icewhole are all known industry sites. Is their inclusion not enough to make it valid? I apologise for the breach in etiquette with the conflict of interest though; there is a lot to understand when you first start out here, please try to remember!--RichardEllipsis (talk) 23:28, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
