[edit] Stalking?

I'm sure WP has a policy about stalking, and I'm sure you're in violation of it. I can't edit any single page without you going in and changing something. Do you wish to refute this? I am asking you politely to leave things I touch alone. I will return the favor, and respect your edits. While another section MAY have been warranted on that ip talk page, there are many other circumstances. Thank you for respecting my wishes. Carterdriggs 04:20, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

I think we just have similar pages on our watchlists. Nothing to get paranoid about. I have never even glanced at your list of contributions. You're probably assuming too much. I keep an eye on user talk pages I make comments on to prevent my comments from becoming intermingled with other topics not connected to my comments, which was the case you cited. Rich Uncle Skeleton (talk) 04:22, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
If that is truly the case, I apologize. I just didn't know why you would possibly have that page on your watchlist. Odd that this address edited pages of mine, and you are the only user associated with it. Carterdriggs 04:26, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
I apologize for jumping the gun. Carterdriggs 04:26, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
It's OK—my preferences are set to default "Watch" for any page I edit, so unless I consciously make an effort not to watch, it goes on. That's what happened there. Rich Uncle Skeleton (talk) 04:28, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
My mistake. I'll leave you well alone. Carterdriggs 04:42, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Question

Question....Feel free to delete this after I ask, but I see that you edit a wide variety of articles, and I was wondering from where you get the idea to edit a specific one? do you go to a project page? Are you just browsing? I'm curious cause I'd like to get a lot more edits under my belt. Thanks Carterdriggs 07:29, 28 September 2007 (UTC) Also, on my watchlist page, I see numbers either green or red in () and was wondering if you knew what those meant. Carterdriggs 07:32, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

I personally usually decide on articles just based on what I'm interested in—do a search, see what comes up. Once you find stuff you like working on, categories (found at the bottom of the article) can be useful in browsing to find related articles that might also interest you. (For instance, at the bottom of the Salt Lake Tabernacle organ page you'll see it's in the Category:Temple Square.)
The numbers you see are what the last editor did in editing the page. Green numbers mean the editor added content. Red numbers mean content was deleted. 0 means there was no net deletion or addition, but something was changed—maybe a rearrnagement, etc. I think the numbers are the numbers of bytes, i.e., individual letters, punctuation marks, etc. Rich Uncle Skeleton (talk) 08:46, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for the info. I appreciate it. Carterdriggs 09:01, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] (Bickertonite)?

Interested parties who voiced opinions on this in the past, read all about it - the raging debate on moving the article on the definitely-not-Bickertonite Church of Jesus Christ has flared up again, at Talk:The_Church_of_Jesus_Christ#Requested_move.2C_take_two. Come back for more fun and games if you care to - thanks for playing... - Reaverdrop (talk/nl) 05:00, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Wingfield W. Watson

I started an article about Wingfield W. Watson. I did it because of my interest in the History of Wisconsin-my native state. There is lots of material about Wingfield W. Watson on the internet. Finally- I am not a member of the Latter Day Saints movement. I am interested in Wisconsin history and I feel Wingfield W. Watson is being overlook. Thank you- RFD 13:58, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Categories

Hey there Richie Rich! I was looking at some of the Categories you created and have a thought I would like to extend your way. Howabout the category of leadership positions and the category for leaders in TJOCJ - get merged. You made em, its your call, but it seems like they go together and it would help both pages because they simply don't have much on their own. Te gusta? Jcg5029 05:09, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

I don't own the categories. It's not my call just because I created them. Sounds like an issue for CfD, which can be started at any time. Rich Uncle Skeleton (talk) 08:25, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Categories - mormon missionaries in X country

Hello. I've notice you've created a number of categories this evening in the format "Mormon Missionaries in X Country/Region". These seem to have just one entry in and I can't believe that there are sufficient notable examples in this area to sustain so many new categories. What is your view on this? B1atv 21:57, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

In the process of populating. Wait until completed to judge it. Rich Uncle Skeleton (talk) 21:59, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
Will do. Thanks. B1atv 22:02, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] changes to the title of Satanic_ritual_abuse_and_The_Church_of_Jesus_Christ_of_Latter-day_Saints page

I wanted to let you know that they have locked in the changes to the title there. You might want to check it out. Abuse truth 01:37, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] AFD

A page you created, Satanic ritual abuse and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, has been nominated for deletion at the 7 August AFD page. I thought I would let you know since the nominator did not. Snocrates 00:30, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the heads-up. Sorry I can't contribute more there or elsewhere, as I'm really busy these days. I glance at my watchlist to keep up with the goings on but I just don't have time to do substantial editing like I used to. Rich Uncle Skeleton (talk) 00:59, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Mormonism and history merge proposal

Please weigh in on the merger proposal between History of the Latter Day Saint movement and Mormonism and history. I saw that you were a recent contributor of one of the pages in question, and thought you would be interested.--Descartes1979 (talk) 21:23, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] CfD

A Category you created, Category:People acquitted of sex crimes, has been nominated for deletion here. If you are interested, please join the discussion. Thanks. Ref (chew)(do) 10:53, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of Mormonism and violence

An editor has nominated Mormonism and violence, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mormonism and violence and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 22:00, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
