I am a blogger who's been using Wikipedia regularly for biographical data on political sources whom I've quoted or written about in my blog, Tikun Olam. I have done some editing of Wikipedia articles as I've read them & noticed they needed edits. But until tonight, I hadn't ever seen an article with a decided ideological bias. So I've just started doing some of this type of editing tonight & will be sure to read future pages with this in mind in an attempt to maintain better balance in politically contentious articles.

In my blog, I write about (U.S.) national politics, U.S. foreign policy, Jewish culture, world music and popular culture. One of my main subjects is the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. I also maintain Israel Palestine Blogs, a peace blog aggregator and Israel Palestine Forum, a forum for progressives to discuss the conflict. I've writtten for the L.A. Times, Comment is Free (The Guardian), and American Conservative Magazine. I've been interviewed for articles in the NY Times, Seattle Post Intelligencer, Jewish Forward, Jewish Week and Jewish Journal. Independent Jewish Voices will be publishing a book on the IP conflict in September under the Verso imprint. I will be contributing a chapter to the collection.

I would be happy to contribute to, or write Wikipedia articles on any of these subjects.

I live in Seattle with my wife, three young children and dog.
