21 years past when Ricardo Solomon de Guzman II was given birth on the 7th of August, 1986 in Mandaluyong City, Philippines. He is the eldest among the three children of Mr. Ricardo de Guzman Sr, a Dental Technician and Mrs. Daisy Solomon.
He has a 1/8 Chinese blood gained from his father side who has a Chinese surname of Chungco was then changed to Ching and turned to de Guzman during the World War II.
He was raised into a fine man, being a god fearing and family oriented.
Ric went to Day Care Center where he started to raise his achievements as a first honorable student among his batchmates. Recieving two gold medals and three silvers. He continued most of his accomplishments in his Elementary days at Jose Rizal University, keeping his parents proud. Though with several regrets of getting the over all honorable place in his High School at Makati, he had been a consistent honor in his class from his first year up to fourth year and always on the pilot class competing with those high brain density.
He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology at the Technological Institute of the Philippines* in May 2007.
At TIP, his gradual initiation into politics and into the art of addressing big crowds began in this days when he was appointed as a Representative of the Computer Society in his University. He became a Vice President of the Student Council when he was a sophomore and represent his College on the University wide Election for the Supreme Student Council but unfortunately, he failed to win over his opponent who is an Engineering student. He soared for high leadership when he was in third year, he took the Presidency Office and formulated the Computer Heuristics ++ (Ch++), a tutorial session for his fellow students and was implemented after his tenure.
His commitment to serve to his fellow students was once again proven (though he was no in the position then) when he fought for the unjustified dissolving of subjects during enrollment, and the request for the repairment of the defective aircondition in the room.
He managed to be a student leader and at the same time a scholar of his University. He also tok his part time as a Student Assistant in the Information Technology Services Office where he gained various technical knowledge.
After his graduation on May, he got his first job as a Jr. Technical Specialist/ Jr. Web Developer at Asian Development Bank*, which is one of the largest Financial Institutions in the world, next to World Bank under the Web development team of Primesoft Ltd*, an Outsourcing, Information Technology company.
Ric is a member of the Greenpeace Organization* and Citizen's Battle Against Corruption (CIBAC)*.
Ric's passion for learning does not end earning his Bachelor's degree, he still wanted to seek higher level of horizons in the Graduate School and if given the chance in the Doctorate World.
