Regarding the suspension against USC section, I removed the Coach Ronald McDonald reference and replaced it with the accurate Coach Lou Holtz reference. With regards to the Ricky Watters Pro Football HOF nomination, citation is needed. Specifically, there are lists I have found that contradict this statement and do not include his name anywhere, e.g.:

Perhaps they were talking about the "preliminary" nominations? These are nowhere near a final list or ballot, at any rate it needs to be removed or revised for accuracy with a reference.
