[edit] Defense of article in response to speedy deletion tag

I'm surprised I even have to defend this article. It's not a vanity article. I'm not him and don't know him. The omission appeared obvious. Richard Foss is a published science fiction author, and Wikipedia is generally fairly comprehensive in referencing such. A web search will turn up fairly numerous references to him in most if not all of his occupations. I discovered he did not have an article when I created the article for The Enchanter Completed: A Tribute Anthology for L. Sprague de Camp, a book containing one of his works, from which all the other contributing authors did have articles. Keep the thing. I and I'm sure others will build on it. He was nominated for an award, too. So there. BPK 21:54, 11 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re-instate article

It might be questionable whether only one SS in Analog is enough to warrant an entry. But speedy delete? No way. Besides, the story was an award nominee. This alone is enough for me to have an article on the guy.Kdammers 23:40, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
