[edit] Interview & letter

From the article:

Corben was interviewed by HM editor Brad Balfour? in 1981 (vol V, issues 3-5, June - August), but was very dissatisfied with the interview. He felt it portrayed him as a repressed homosexual and a "petty, childish, borderline psychotic oaf". He wrote a letter in retort, which was published in September 1981 (vol V, issue 6).

My, that interview (and retraction letter) would make interesting reading. Anyone got a link to it? It'd be a valuable augmentation to the links. Frecklefoot | Talk 14:20, May 18, 2005 (UTC)

It's very, very likely to already be somewhere on SidSid's page at muuta.net somewhere. Just look around and you'll find it. I'd be surprised if it isn't. --I am not good at running 21:26, 21 May 2005 (UTC)
It is indeed, but the site appears to be down at the moment. Google has it in its cache. Mikkel 19:09, 22 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] "Gore" Corben

I had a vague memory of a Corben sci-fi short story -- don't recall the title, it was about alien invaders of Earth IIRC called the "Gnomes" (little wizened guys in camo fatigues and conventional combat kit) -- and wondered what he had been doing lately, so I looked up this article. Anyway, I recall from way back when that he was nicknamed "Gore" for reasons obvious to anyone who read his stories, and that he even signed himself as "Gore" on occasion. Might be an interesting detail to add to this article -- can anyone with data validate? MrG 4.227.251.189 (talk) 19:59, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
