[edit] Where did Richard Burke die?

The first author had Beaconsfield; now (apparently on the authority of the Oxford DNB?) it's become South Kensington ... --Paularblaster (talk) 01:03, 24 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Richard Burke's birth

The author(s) would seem to have confused a Richard Burke (b. 1753) of Rathcormack with Edmund Burke's son Richard (b. 1758). The latter was in fact born in Battersea (see fly-leaf of Edmund Burke's family Bible). The Rathcormack Burkes were most probably a collateral line. There is no evidence to support the claim that Edmund's son was married or had any issue. hbarbet

The article was started by a genealogist who I suspect thinks they are a descendant; I hope they aren't too disappointed. Please fix the articleas appropriate (providing the source for your knowledge of Edmund Burke's family bible). --Paularblaster (talk) 12:54, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
But the person that put that information in their that Richard Burke had children has a pretty good sources. Now I'm not saying that I'm descendant of Richard even though I do have some Burke blood in me and I have traced my line back to a John Burke born 1779 but maybe he did have descendants, I think you should keep that in their.
