The estimation [sic] that the daily population could be as many as 80,000 is completely preposterous; furthermore, it is uncited, so I suggest it be removed. Nonbonumest 06:45, 27 September 2006 (UTC)nonbonumest

Hello, I have just found two articles about Rice Lake. This one - Rice Lake, Wisconsin and second one Rice Lake (town), Wisconsin. I am little bit confused as there in the articles is stated different number of citizens, but it seems the article is about the same town. I would like to point out, that my home city Zamberk (Czech Republic) is partner city of Rice Lake, together with Senftenberg, Veszprem, Nowa Sol etc. Would anybody add these partner cities to the article? (Pls see article Žamberk for details). - Bohemianroots 06:39, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

I am originally from Rice Lake, and I would like to help improve this page. Interestingly enough, the daily population of Rice Lake is quite an odd phenomenon; I'm sure 80,000 is a gross overstatement, but bear in mind that Rice Lake is the only pseduo-shopping center between Eau Claire and Superior, making it a draw for not only the 45,000+ people in Barron County, but also the surrounding areas as well. I will see what I can dig up online so I can cite information about Rice Lake, and attempt to verify what is already contained in this article. Rohdeaa 01:13, 8 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Wirlwlogo.gif

Image:Wirlwlogo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
