Rick Waits

Michael Richard Waits (born May 15, 1952 in Atlanta, Georgia) was a Major League Baseball pitcher from 1973 to 1985 for the Texas Rangers, Cleveland Indians, and Milwaukee Brewers. Waits, a southpaw starting pitcher, beat the New York Yankees in the final regular season game of the 1978 season, setting up a one game playoff between the Yankees and Boston Red Sox, which was won by the Yankees.
