Rick Rivets

Former member of Actress (NY Dolls), the Brats, the Corpse Grinders. In 1971, childhood friends Arthur Kane and Rick Rivets decide to form a band which would later get known as the New York Dolls. By February 1972, Rivets is out of the group and replaced by Sylvain Sylvain. A year later, he becomes a founding member of the Brats. The newly formed KISS opens for the Brats several times before becoming one of the most popular band of their era. In 1977 Rivets quits the Brats. He starts the Corpse Grinders with Arthur Kane on bass and Stuboy Wylder on vocals. The three of them had already been in a high school band together back in 1966 and Stu had toured with the New York Dolls on their final US tour with his previous band Age.

In 2006, Rick Rivets released a new album called City Rockers with the Rick Rivets Band. He also appears in the movie New York Doll about Arthur Kane.
