Richard Thomas Devin (known as Rick Devin) (born July 5, 1960) in Braintree, Massachusetts, USA is a successful American Musician and Recording Artist who has been performing acoustic based folk/rock and americana music for over 25 years. Early bands with which Devin was a founding member include: The Three D's, Mountain Madness, The Greenbroke Band, and The Eagle River Band.[1]

His dedication to the preservation of Cowboy Music was seen in his first six albums, earning him seven nominations in the 2004 Academy of Western Artists Awards. [2] Having been influenced by Folk rock music of the 1960s, Devin stated in a recent interview, "...I've gone back to my musical roots with my two latest albums, which focus more toward the Folk rock hits of the 60s and 70s..."[3]

Rick Devin's albums include: My Favorites (CAS-1982); Colorado Reflections (CAS-1995); Colorado Cowboy (CD-1999) engineered and co-produced by Chuck Leary (The Beach Boys, America, Bee Gees)[4]; Row of Doors (CD-2002) mastered by Ricardo Garcia [5]and Co-Produced by Chuck Leary 4; Cowboy Classics (CD-2003) mastered by Ricardo Garcia [6] and nominated as Album of the year by the Academy of Western Artists [7]; Rick Devin - Live from the Trail (DVD-2005), directed by Emmy Award Winning Film Director, Michael J. Sullivan [8]; Distant Lands: An Instrumental Journey (CD-2006) and Old School: Hits of the 60s & 70s (CD-2007) Mastered by Ricardo Garcia [9], with special guests: Chet McCracken (former member of The Doobie Brothers Band) and Chris Pinnick (former member of the band Chicago) and featuring Maria Fernanda Ricart and Manoel de Souza.
