Richmond Shire Council is a Local Government Area in north western Queensland, Australia. Towns in the shire include Maxwelton, Nonda and the administrative capital, Richmond.
The Richmond Shire was originally named the Shire of Wyangarie after a prominent grazing Homestead in the area[1]
