[edit] Location
The station will be located in the heart of Richmond's commercial core, in proximity to the Richmond Centre shopping mall and Richmond City Hall. The station will also be within a short walking distance to such amenities as Richmond Public Market, Richmond Hospital, and the Minoru civic complex, as well as other nearby office, commercial, and residential buildings.
[edit] Services
A proposed bus loop will serve as a terminus for the many bus routes that already serve the area, and enable a convenient transfer to the Canada Line.
[edit] Station name
Prior to the station's renaming from "Richmond City Centre" to "Richmond-Brighouse," the City of Richmond proposed that the name "Brighouse" be used as a historic name for the surrounding neighbourhood, to reflect the area's heritage.
