Richland Township is one of fifteen townships in Greene County, Indiana, USA. As of the 2000 census, its population was 5,008.

Richland Township covers an area of 43.15 square miles (111.77 square kilometers); of this, 0.43 square miles (1.12 square kilometers) or 1 percent is water. The streams of Beech Creek, Letsinger Branch, Miller Branch, Ore Branch, Plummer Creek, Ritter Branch, Skinner Branch, Stalcup Branch and Wildcat Branch run through this township.
