Richard Ziman is the founding Chairman and CEO of Arden Realty, Inc., the largest owner of commercial office real estate in Southern California.

Ziman received his undergraduate degree from USC in 1964, and his law degree from USC in 1967. He was a partner in the firm Loeb & Loeb from 1971-1978, specializing in all aspects of real estate.

In 1989, he sold off his portfolio of Southern California real estate just before the market crash. Between 1989 and 1990, he sold 5 million square feet of property in 19 months.[1]

In 2001 he helped establish the Richard S. Ziman Center for Real Estate at the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA.

He and his wife, Daphna Ziman, are prominent Democratic Party contributors. In early 2007, he hosted a fundraiser for Joe Biden.[2] In 2008, he raised enough money for Hillary Clinton to earn the Clinton campaign's designation 'Hillraiser'. He contributed $15,000 to a group to help seat Florida and Michigan seat their Democratic Party primary election delegates.[3]

He enjoys deep sea and fly fishing, occasionally indulging in getaway trips to [Cabo San Lucas].[4]
