Richard Wearne

Richard Wearne is an Australian World Rowing Championships silver and bronze medalist and Olympic Games rower. He attended Newington College where he was coached by olympian and fellow Old Newingtonian Michael Morgan OAM. He won a bronze medal in 1994 and silver medal in 1995 at the World Rowing Championships in coxless pairs. [1] In 1996 Richard competed in the men's eight event at the Atlanta Olympics and the crew was placed sixth.
