Richard Thompson (athlete)

Richard Thompson (born 7 June 1985) is a Trinidad and Tobago sprinter who specializes in the 100 metres.

He competed at the 2007 World Championships, but was knocked out in the quarter-final round.

His personal best time is 9.93 seconds, achieved in May 2008 in Auburn, during the Southeastern Conference Track and Field Championships. This was the second fastest time so far in 2008.[1] He also has 20.23 seconds in the 200 metres and 6.51 seconds in the 60 metres, achieved in March 2008 in Fayetteville.[2]
