Richard Taylor (missionary)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Richard Taylor (May 21, 1805 – October 10, 1873) was a C.M.S. missionary in New Zealand. He was present at the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi, but is perhaps most notable for the numerous books he wrote on the natural and cultural environment of New Zealand in his time.[1]
The Wanganui suburb of Taylorville is named after him.[1]
