Richard Rovere

Richard H. Rovere (5 May 1915—23 November 1979) was an American journalist.
Rovere graduated from Columbia University and worked as an editor at The Nation before becoming a columnist. For 30 years, he wrote the Washington Letter for The New Yorker, and his reporting got him on the master list of Nixon political opponents.
He died of emphysema in Poughkeepsie, New York.
