Richard Michael Pyrah, known as 'Rich', is a first class cricketer who is contracted to play with Yorkshire County Cricket Club for the 2007 season.

Born on November 1, 1982 in Dewsbury, Yorkshire and educated at Ossett High School, this six foot tall right hand batsman and right arm medium pacer has been used mainly in one day and Twenty20 cricket in the early part of his career. He made his one day debut in 2001 but had to wait until 2004 for his first class bow.

As part of Sky Television's Twenty20 coverage, he revealed his favourite band to be Oasis with his favourite film Dumb and Dumber.
