Richard Marshall (born December 12, 1984 in Los Angeles, California) is a professional American football player who currently plays for the Carolina Panthers of the NFL. A 5'11", 189 lb defensive back from Fresno State University, Marshall was selected by the Panthers in the 2nd round (58th overall) of the 2006 NFL Draft. He has been a significant part of the Carolina Panthers pass defense.
