Richard Leese

Sir Richard Charles Leese CBE is a Labour Party politician in the City of Manchester. He is a councillor in the Crumpsall ward, and the leader of the Council. He was awarded a Knighthood for services to local government in the Birthday Honours 2006. [1].

Sir Richard is one of the main advocates of the Manchester Congestion Charge.
