Richard LeParmentier (born July 16, 1946) is an American actor best-known for appearing in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, which was his third film.

He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. He relocated to the United Kingdom from the United States in 1974. He has appeared in over 50 films and television programs. He made his video game voice debut in Soldiers: Heroes of World War II as a narrator. He now resides in Bath, UK, and is now a screenwriter. His ex-wife is Sarah Douglas.
